The Columbia River Gorge is home to some of the highest winds on the west coast making it the perfect spot for sailing, windsurfing, kite boarding, and surfing. Other activities include mountain biking, road biking, kayaking, hiking and paddle boarding. The Columbia River Gorge has hundreds of waterfalls, making it one of the most waterfall populated areas in North America.

Beginning sailors will learn rigging, boat handling, safety and more from US
Sailing certified instructors in weekly 2-hour sessions. Learn at your own

Sternwheeler Cruise
The boat is moored at Port of Cascade Locks Marine Park May through October. The boat was built by Nichols Boat Works in Hood river and was launched in 1983. The boat is owned by the Port of Cascade Locks but is operated by Portland Spirit. Landmarks of the gorge,Sight seeing, Brunch and Dinner Cruises are offered from Nine to Eighty-four dollars.
